Hello. I have almost all GL albums. I love music. I'm a fan of a bunch of bands and different artists, and I like all types of music, country, pop, rock, even a little rap, you name it. But enough of explaining about myself.
In some of the re-recorded songs, he changes the lyrics a little bit. For instance, in the Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald, he goes from "That GOOD ship & true was a bone to be chewed" to "That BIG ship & true".
And in High and dry, in the original version one part of the lyrics "one day WHEN I grew older" changes in the re-recording to "one day AS I grew older".
I think what I'm trying to ask is, when Gordon sings in concerts today The Wreck and High and dry and other songs with changes like this, does he sing them as they were in the orignal or as they were in the re-recording? Or does he switch around a bit?
