Men of the Deeps tickets available

Tickets are available for Cape Breton's Men of the Deeps, who will perform at the Capitol on Thursday, April 14.

The Men of the Deeps consist of working and retired coal miners from the island. The group was organized in 1966 as part of Cape Breton’s contribution to Canada’s centennial year in 1967.

Songs are gathered from mining communities around the world. Many of the songs are composed by contemporary Cape Breton writers or traditional songs which trace their Celtic roots back to their homeland.

Showtime is 8 p.m. Tickets range from $35-$50.
