Re: NOW magazine.- March 1993
Thanks for posting.
While I will always love the old standards, I find myself drawn to both his lesser known songs (The Gypsy, All the Lovely Ladies) and newer tunes (Inspiration Lady, Clouds of Loneliness) as well. Across the board, I am confident that the songs he has written in every era have stood and will stand the test of time. |

Hard to believe that came out nearly 20 years ago!

Re: NOW magazine.- March 1993
Too bad his love of getting up with the sun and writing has gone away. Then again, from what I understand, the new wife and 4 year old have been replaced with...nothing..an empty house...nothing to push him to write. But I treasure the fact that he's still around at 73, and not retired or...dare I say it..dead.

He's happy and healthy and willing to go out on the road @ 73... that's all a gift for us.
I'm a happy girl. :) |
Re: NOW magazine.- March 1993
He indicated back then that he was hoping to play until 2000 if the health holds up - that was 12 years ago and is still "a going concern"...
