Just read on Google news, that our man is due to be a judge on Canadian Idol on August 18th. The show will consist of the remaining hopefuls tackling Lightfoot songs. Nice tribute, but i'm not sure about this! Maybe the talent on the Canadian version of the show is better than the UK one. Hopefully!

The number of contestants is now down to nine. In my view many of these finalists are very talented. It will be interesting to see how well the final six tackle Gord's songs. I anticipate some good renditions.

Just a thought, after the appearance at Mariposa, maybe Gord will actually do a performance of some kind. Great to hear he's active again, regardless.

watching CTV news, He is performing and 6 people will perform his songs. Yes, He will judge. The week before, August 11, Lionel Richie will perform/judge.

Gord will judge? if so, imagine he'll look awkward and say "that was good" to each one
hope that means that all the other goofy judges are eliminated, that's long overdue

what's Lionel Richie got to do with CI? Why not Cuddy, Keelor or Cummings instead? agh

there's a few pools going around where folks are trying to predict GL songs matched with each idol...pretty tough but would like to hear bluesy Theresa do Make Way for the Lady...Kalan's certainly the teen idol winner, but no clue who will take the cake
