It seems at many concerts fans throw flowers on the stage and/or present the performer with a bouquet of flowers. Has anyone seen this happen with Gord?

I'd love to give him a bouquet of roses in Montreal when he comes out to do his curtain call, but don't know how I would get them in there, get to the stage at the right time, etc.

Any thoughts on this one?

Betty, My mother has a long history of bringing Gordon flowers, going back to about 1974. In fact I have a photo of him sniffing a bouquet that Mom had my sister put on stage... that was in the 70's though. At the Aurora IL show last month I brought Mom and Mom of coarse brought flowers. This time we asked the Theatre staff about this and they said they would take the directly to Mr. Lightfoot's dressing room. That was very cool indeed! Sadly he could'nt sqeeze in my request for Canary Yellow Canoe, but it was a fantastic evening all the same.
So in short... (sorry too late for that now lol!!!) Bring the flowers and get trustworth staff to take them to Gord. Unless of coarse you're in the front row!!!! He has commented in the past that he does appreciate them for sure!
Enjoy the show in Montreal!!! there's nothing like a Lightfoot concert!!!!

In the legendary SoundStage perfomance, GL was presented with a bouquet which he held to his mouth and tipped it back like a bottle of beer...
