Hello, this has become one of my most listened-to songs lately. Has Gord ever played this live, and what was the arrangement? I know he rarely does solo acoustic performances since the early 60's, but this song is pretty much acoustic on the album, so unless someone else plays harmonica, or unless the band filled in other instruments, Gord would have to do this song solo. Any insights on how it was performed if ever? It really should also be included on some children's album somewhere.

The live version sounds a lot like the version of the song found on Gord's Gold 2. He plays it occasionally. For example, he played on April 29 in Las Vegas. The band plays a significant role. I enjoy the band, but would always be up to hearing just Gord and the guitar. Maybe some of you remember when he did an acoustic set during the East of Midnight tour. That is a strong memory for me. I loved it.

I also love that song, always did. I was always drawn to Gords songs where it's mainly just him and his guitar you can hear, like SDYS and Me and Bobby McGee etc. I wish he would perform those songs more often.

I'm sure he did that one when I saw him in concert. Wish I had a playlist!
