Default Hail Hero / Gordon Lightfoot

Lightfoot contributed the title song and "Wherefore And Why" to this, Michael Douglas' first film from 1969.

"Wherefore & Why"... written & performed by Gordon Lightfoot !

Lightfoot also wrote Sit Down Young Stranger and Don Quixote for this film, but they weren't used... www.lightfoot.ca

Well if you did not hear it before than me posting it here makes it worth my effort.

Now I just saw "My Love For You" @ The Genies on your YT page. And that Awards show I did miss. You are a pro making me look like a real amateur...

I hear ya Jesse Joe........jj has a knack for that. Hopefully, someday he'll share some of his musical work, and then we can tactfully tear it apart.

Lust kiddin'......he truly is a pro.

appreciate the flattery (any talent perceived is all a grand illusion) about the videos, as for the music:

well, as Gord says, lets quit while were ahead, lol

this is one of my fave clips...during that WFY era which i think is under rated

the guy on Gords right is totally stoked (and so he should be)

...you can hear Rick adding subtle bass, off camera...a nice touch

This is a first for me really "AWESOME" ! Man those fingernails makes for some great guitar picks. LIGHTFOOT on USA TV... He looked great & healthy. What I would give to see him on CNN Larry King Live.

Keep them coming jj.

From Wayne's Site:
LOS ANGELES MORNING SHOW - KTLA - 1993
Lightfoot does an interview and a song for an estimated 1.5 million viewers. The song was the new single of the day, I'll Prove My Love, with Rick Haynes playing bass off-camera.

I bought that very movie at Ebay last year for $1 (plus tx,shipping).

Great to own that and to hear that song. The re-working of "Wherefore & Why" is odd but nice.
