A gord song for my friend Steve (12Dec1962-12Feb2022)
One of my closest friends, who went to school with me in the 1970s, passed away this month from prostate cancer, aged 59. He was never happier than when on his modest boat on the modest Nicholson River several hours east of Melbourne. I think Lightfoot's "River Of Light" is a fitting tribute:
