Many thanks, Char. I just watched that concert from start to finish. It certainly did justice to Gord's songs and legacy, reproduced the Lightfoot sound and style and had excellent performances from all band members. It was great hearing the band play "The Circle Is Small", "Summer Side Of Life" and "Canadian Railroad Trilogy" for the first time in many years. Also hearing all band members speaking to the audience, including Markham resident Barry Keane performing in his home town for the first time and Mike Heffernan's memories of early flights in the band's private jet. Corfid poster Joveski told me he asked Rick Haynes (via Facebook) if there's any chance of an Australian tour and Rick replied that he "believes in going all the way or going home". So maybe we can hope for our first Lightfoot band tour here since 1974 after all ...
