"Just a poem,to be read for the muse,
just some words, that the heart can't refuse."

"Just some phrases, looking as good as they sound",
"just some rhymes, fresh as grass on the ground."

"Just a sonnnet,a fable,a stanza or two,
just some lyrical, whimsical writings for you".

"Just a passage to peruse, away or at home,
just take it all in,for it's more than..just a poem!" :D

Very nice Borderstone. Yep, somethings are bigger than words. Here's a link to some of my "poems" that I added some music to. No more, no less.

Ron, I'm having some annoying buffering problems, but what I've been able to hear of "Memories Run Deep" and "Forget About Me" are very nice and I love the artwork!

The thread "Just A Poem" was in the test forum, intiated by a poem from Borderstone which I thought was great. He was sharing a creative side of himself, and that's all I was doing with my link.
Again, in the test forum.

I sacrificed my anonymity, but that's ok.

I'm on this site to talk about Lightfoot.

Thanks again Char, your just the best here. Did go and have a listen to Memories Run Deep. Great piece of music, voice pretty good too. Wish I could do it as good.

Good work Reminder...

Well,no I'm not Ron meason because I have no idea who that is. I was here and just thought to myself,"I haven't been in this section in ages" and I wondered what to post.

I then thought,"Well, maybe just a poem",and that's where I got my title. The rest was right of the top of my head.

Glad you all liked it. Your compliments are making me blush big time!

Just a note to say the kind words offered were greatly appreciated. I was feeling a sense of
unease because the tone of my last post did not reflect my "thanks" to those who took the time to listen.

Hindsight thanks ,

Reminder, I did get to your website, but unfortunately the dialup thing got me again. I hear a bit of your guitar playing, very nice, but that was as far as I could get.

Jessui,I think you're confusing me with the person who's called "reminder". :D I can't play guitar worth a dang!

In fact my thumb can't even flex over to the bottom of my pinky! That makes it impossible to wrap my fingers around a guitar neck.
