After the afternoon jam session "rehearsal" at McVeigh's Irish pub where the waiter
mike remembered us from 2008 we convened in the hall again and found two last minite surprise extras (Melissa and brink) then
Bang on time tonight, no more subway tunnel problems, Gord opened with the very welcome

during this a fan who hd been at MCVeigh's erarlier Dan Davis came up to me,introduced himself as a one time poster on the now sadly misused Google Newsgroup who had met both Wayne Francis and Mathew Fifer and wanted to thank me and Char for what we do on corfid.If I remember correctly he refferred to me as a "celebrity" !!

He said JJW was inside an elevator, Gord was outside. JJ threw it out, Gord threw it back, and that continued until the elevator doors closed. When it was done, Gord had the jacket!

Many thanks Jenney for giving a better answer than the one I was about to post.I have to admit that I failed to hear theword "elevator" and asumed it was JJW's dressing room door but your versioon makes much more sense.I think he also a added that he wore the same jacket on the Gord''s Gold 2 cover,I do not have it handy to check so is that

Sounds like everyone's having a great time at Massey. Thanks for all the reporting.
John, the jacket could be on Gord's Gold. On the US version of Gord's Gold 2 he's wearing a sweater.
