Default Massey hall - Sharon-just released from hospital

Hello friends, I have only previosly had contact with a few Lightfoot devotees. I am Sharon from Miami and I had planned on being in Toronto this evening.Previous post re: Massey tickets. I was just released from the hospital this evening, and was unable to send my tickets back to Massey Hall as per her suggestion, brought about with Char's help. If anyone knows of a way they might make use of these great seats, nothing would make me happier than giving them to you. I am housebound at the moment, but if a courier pickup could be arranged, I will gladly give a Confid member the tickets. I SO wanted to shake Mr. Lightfoot's hand and thank him for the music and what he has meant to me through the years! He is truly a GENIUS! I know I'm preaching to the choir with these word. Sorry if I haven't made much sense but I have a fractured pelvis, so right it's a difficult time. Thanks, everyone. Best wishes to all.
Sharon

oh dear - I thought you had arranged last week to courier them overnight to Massey Hall in time to get a refund!
oh man... A courier pick up at your place tomorrow would get the tickets here on Thursday..maybe..and probably would be quite expensive..
I don't know what else to suggest..I thought it was all done with and you had received your refund..

I hope you're feeling better soon..I had no idea you were in hospital still.
take care..

Thanks for all of your help, Char. Afraid hospitalization ruined those plans! Maybe you could have Mr. Lightfoot wish me a happy birthday on May 10 and pass it along to me. Don't mind me, the pain medication is making me ramble nonsense. But, Char, I really do thank you!!

Hey Sharon,

What's your favorite tune ? Maybe we can get him to play it for you. Take care of yourself and don't worry about rambling, most studies show that healing goes faster when pain is well controlled.

Hi Bill,
Trying to pick a favorite song is very difficult. The first song that came to mind is Shellfish. I know this hasn't been in any recent setlist. I love them all! The Last Time I Saw Her was always one of my all time favorites, but I know vocally, that would not be possible.
Thanks for the kind words and suggestion. I fnow everyone will have a magnificent time! All my best to everyone!

Hi 814scenic,

I hope you are feeling like yourself soon. Maybe there will be another concert in your furture later in the year. Did you get to go to any of the concerts in Feb.? I will not be at Massy so write if you get lonely. Get well soon.
