Default Tarrytown Music Hall NY 13 May 2017

After a fairly short drive North we were able to admire the work done so far on the new Tappen Zee Bridge which makes the original one look hopelessly inadequate!!(good job "New York builds bridges not walls"!!

then dropped down to Tarrytown
and its sold out Music Hall.

This concert was especially memorable for me as it was exactly my 100th Lightfoot performance and a week next Sunday (May 21st) will be precisely 50 years to the day since I saw him for the very first time at Montreal's New Penelope coffee bar after he had just played at the Canadian Pavilion on the Expo 67 site with Red and John

Now that's an impressive bridge!

John, it looks like you got most of the same songs from Princeton but in different order. I wish he did Song for A Winter's Night on Wednesday - love that one. But I like a "toe tapper" for the encore - Blackberry Wine or Old Dan's Records preferably

So you were the gentleman celebrating his 100th show at the meet and greet this past Saturday in Tarrytown!

"my 100th Lightfoot performance... "

Very few could claim to have seen the Master 100 times. Just a handful I'd guess. Something to be proud of.
I reckon he owes you a drink John - that's a small fortune in ticket sales.
