Default Yusuf (Cat Stevens) in Melbourne 27Nov2017

Looking forward to this concert at Rod Laver Arena (home of the Australian Open tennis). Saw him there in 2010 and, four decades after his previous Australian tour, he was excellent. With tickets this year to lifelong music heroes James Taylor (Feb), Jethro Tull's Ian Anderson (Apr) and Cat Stevens/Yusuf (Nov), I feel like I've won the lottery! Now if Gord could just make that long-awaited sequel to his well received 1974 Australian tour ...

Joveski,

I hear you. I booked at the start of the Ticketek presale and $130 only got me in the nosebleed seats.

that's what i dont like Rod Laver arena these days, Dave. in the early 2000's, it was easy to get 4th and and 6th row seats on the floor section for Bob Dylan and Roger Waters, for a much cheaper price and much better seats. and John Fogerty a bit later on with floor seats for just $149. since then i've always got back balcony seats at a higher price! i've seen some Cat Stevens tickets on those dodgy ticket websites that are going for around $400!

Just bought his new album "The Laughing Apple". I'm enjoying it more than his last one (the blues album "Tell 'Em I'm Gone"), but not as much as his previous two albums ("An Other Cup" and "Roadsinger"). Looking forward to the first of his two Melbourne concerts in November.
