I just realized that it is less than three months until the new CD is suppose to be released. I am counting down the days!

Will this album have more than just 10 or 11 songs on it? I think all albums should have around 15 songs. 10 is simply not enough(I think).

I believe the release said HARMONY has 11 songs (including 2 live cuts). I agree, I'd love more than that, especially when it's so long between albums <sigh>.

I have a feeling that when someone points out to Gord that he could fit 17 or 18 songs on a cd he thinks "Oh, jeez...."

I'm no songwriter/singer, but it seems like everyone would want to fit 15 songs or more on an album.

I know most "genius" type artists like the late Jim Morrison could easily fill up an album with 15 or 20 songs. The trouble with that is,the songs would have to be extremly well done with no room for so-so or clunkers.

Prince did that in 1996 with his Emancipation CD and while he's great att what he does, the amount of songs it (not to mention the price, made most people avoid it.

Ten to 12 is just right, unless we're talking a greatest hits compilation. Or a GL CD! It's been me,later!

I couldn't agree more that I would rather
Gord record 12 songs he really beleives in than 5 or 6 more he only half believes in.
Its just that when you turn over a CD and look at the shiny side...the recorded part from the center hole outwards is kind of opaque, and the unrecorded part out to the edge is clear?....I just like to see more opaque than clear. Does anyone else do that, or am I nuts?
