Hello all on www.corfid.com! This is always a touchy subject for me and my boyfriend. He believes that women should not make as much as man if she is going to have to leave her job when she gets pregnant.

Now I agree I think its important to take off even after a baby is born and take care of your child, however, I dont see how we should be penalized for it.

I think that all depends.

Now if your boyfriend doesn't think women should be paid equaly because of his need to feel superior,then he's being foolish.

But if it's more along the line of taking time off things like having children, I don't know what to say. It might depend on paying someone for how hard one works or how often an employee is there and some places may feel they have to discriminate in such ways to save money and may not be out of snootiness but then that's depends on who you're dealing with.
