Didn't know if anyone knew, but Johnny Ramone died yesterday at 55 from prostrate cancer. He followed tow of his brothers, one from lymphatic cancer in 2001, and one from a drug overdose in 2002.
Rest in peace!

Sounds like it, doesn't it? Maybe the one who OD'd did it because he found out he had cancer, too! Just a morbid thought. Sorry for that!

HI Guys,

That is indeed sad about Johnny, but just for the record none of them were brothers. they are only the Ramones"" in name. That said, It is quite strange to see three band memebers sticken with cancer at a young age. They were a great band. I met Joey Ramone and he was a terrific person.

If the Ramones lived as hard and fast as the music they played,it's not to surprising. I mean no offense by that but we all know rockers/punks etc. of the 60s & 70s (and 80s) lived a bit recklessly then.

It either catches up with them later or a lot sooner. As for cancers,it could be an inherited trait or something that developed overtime. In any case,to the third Ramone,R.I.P wherever you may be. I honestly feel like going out and renting "Rock & Roll High School" now.

I'm withh you, "B"! I was not a huge fan, but they were a voice of the eighties! Or, was it the seventies??? I used to live life in that lane, but slowed down. Better get a check-up!
