interesting lists..now Jessie, how quickly can you find all of these?

I didn't realize that Stars of 45 cover was used in the 54 film...quite an dramatic acting effort by Mike Myers... a different kind of Love Guru, lol

You Were on My Mind is probably the first tune I recall singing in my head a whole lot as a youngster, and for good reason, very catchy

as for a homegrown cover effort, I like this raw and fun version

I try, but it's confusing. The suit is being brought by Viacom and I can't get a feel for how extensive their holdings are.

The disturbing part for me was the ruling that Google (which owns YouTube) would have to turn over the terabytes of info that include user Ids, IP addresses, and which videos they submit and watch. Viacom says individuals are not at risk of punitive charges, and they just want the evidence to prove their case. Of course, Google/YouTube has been collecting that info all along.

I dunno....it feels like an invasion of privacy to me.

That's true, but it is also part of Viacom's allegations. They claim they have had to employ a team just to monitor YouTube (hence the ruling), and would like some financial compensation for that expense.

I just don't like the idea of all that info (which also includes passwords, I think) being turned over to another party.

I don't either Ron! Seems as though a minimal amount of information can be used to identify a view (violation).
