Randy Travis set for Oct. 25 performance in Moncton.
The country music keeps on coming to Moncton. Country megastar Randy Travis is the next on the list, and he will perform in the Moncton Coliseum on Oct. 25, with opener Charlie Major.

Travis has 22 number one hits, four Grammys, five Dove awards, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. His hits include, Forever and Ever, Amen, On The Other Hand, Hard Rock Bottom Of Your Heart, Are We In Trouble Now, Three Wooden Crosses and more.

On his more recent albums, Travis has taken a more spiritual approach. His last several discs have mixed his classic country sound with traditional hymns.

In 2005 Randy was awarded a Grammy for Best Southern, Country, or Bluegrass, Gospel Album for his Worship & Faith album. In April 2006 he won a Dove Award for Country Album Of The Year for his album of traditional hymns, Glory Train.

I already knew about it. I've got you beat. But I probably won't go. It's quite a distance from Northern Maine to Moncton. And I've already been to a Randy Travis show. But thanks for letting me know.
