Re: Brian E. sings Gordon Lightfoot / A Great Voice !
lol ! Now I know why your Screen Name begins with Night... Your like an Owl, Bats, etc, you come out at night.
Really nice of Brian to dedicate it to Corfidians, thanks Anne.

Re: Brian E. sings Gordon Lightfoot / A Great Voice !
Yep, I am a night owl, my Canadian friend
This morning, I stopped in to take a look at the board and I thought you called me an OLD bat...lol.
Then, I put my reading glasses on and it said Owl, Bats...blah, blah...lol
I was about ready to take the midnight train to Moncton and smack you silly, Jesse Joe
Yes, Spanish Moss is great! Brian did a wonderful version of that song.
Yes, it was nice of him to dedicate it to the Corfidians...of course, now he is one of us

Char, John, or anyone that goes to those Massey Reunions, you should invite this great singer to your next one. Man oh Man can he sing good.
Great job once again Brian.

Re: Brian - 7761864
i recall my first LATR listening (it wasn't on a very good music system but it sure sounded fine to me)...thanks for reviving that moment with your sedating version...nice to see someone standing (vs seated) and performing, like Gord-ish

Re: Brian - 7761864
Hello JJ.
The collaboration was suggested by Joe after we had been commenting back and forth on our videos. He did the arranging and editing (I'm no tech.) I sent him a recording via "Transfer Big Files, (don't use it, it had a virus) and he somehow overdubbed the rest. I was jazzed to see and hear it. I would love to do more with him, but I don't know if he has the time. He is quite popular in Bavaria I believe, and deservedly so. I do know he had a skiing accident a while back, and endured a slow recovery. It's nice to see him back. Perhaps a request would nudge him along? Hopefully, we will do more someday, as several people have asked. He is a very nice gentlemen.
Take care,
Brian

Re: Brian E. sings Gordon Lightfoot / A Great Voice !
it's really getting hard to pick a fave Brian performance, he picks all my true faves...and such steady meter...if I knew how to download even the audio alone, I'd make a comp of his finest, assuming I could narrow it down to an hours worth
would be a treat to have this gent at Massey/pubjam sometime

Re: Brian E. sings Gordon Lightfoot / A Great Voice !
He once told me that he was thinking of going this year, but it was not is final answer. He also ask me if I was going, but I told him I never attended a Massey reunion, and I also said if your going do bring your guitar.
