I have never been lucky enough to see see anything like these where I live. I am sure if I opened the paper and saw an ad like those my heart would beat so fast it might leave my body. Sounds strange I know but I am not sure what else to say.

Really great hearing about this guys. When I lived in Toronto and the spring concerts at Massey were inevitable, in January when the Toronto Star would arrive on the weekend you could almost sense the feeling that when you opened up the entertainment section it was going to be there. The Gordon Lightfoot spring concerts were on! I seemed to shed a bright light on the sometimes January blues and from there the New Year was jump started. RJ.

DSR - even after all these decades I am still thrilled to my toes to open the paper and see these ads.
It's an internal conflict of calmness while my heart beats a bit faster.
As RJ says, we knew spring was on the way when the Lightfoot/Massey shows were advertised..I just wish they were still in March..May seems such a long wait away..

Char,

I know what you mean ... when you see these adverts, it is like the earth is again centered and turning correctly on its axis.

Have my tickets -- Paul and I will be there Friday night.

Cheers, my dear.

Mark

He's like magic to us!

Like Pamela Wallin told him once, " Why do you keep pressing our buttons"?
