Thanks for saying so brink, I'd be honored to meet you and yours also. Since I'm used to cooking outside anytime of year I'll be happy to do the cooking or at least the grilling, LOL.

Re: 2001 Massey Char-b-que Video
Jimmy, this is awesome. I've spent the past 7 years being so sorry that I missed that wonderful gathering in Toronto. I was just getting online at that point and had just found the Lightheads. I wish Marty McFly and Doc Brown could bring me that Delorian so I could travel back in time and be at Char's house for that jam session. But, since that's not likely, I'm just so glad to have these awesome videos to watch. I'd heard, for years, that there was video somewhere of this stuff, but I'd never seen any of it before tonight. JJ, you rock! Thanks a million for this!

Re: 2001 Massey Char-b-que Video
hey, Melissa...glad you enjoyed...the other day I was getting a kick out of pluckin' It's A Long Way Back Home and flashing back to our mini-jam chuckles with Denny (and Gaby)
ahh, great to hear from you also, Bru ....that was a great chicken-b-q, Char!
...if there's a Lighthead Heaven, you know we'd have a heck of a band...

Re: 2001 Massey Char-b-que Video
i was trying to show a few folks the first section of the video so they could see how some of the fans came together and then jammed...i thought there was an audio problem with my Mac til i saw this message "This video contains an audio track that has not been authorized by WMG. The audio has been disabled."
i had used about a minute of Too Late for Praying from a GL recording before i merged it into Kenyon's version...it's kind of flattering that Warner somehow found this...i hadn't even mentioned Lightfoot in the video title or in any tags, i never do...do they have staff clicking on every one of the trillion youtube videos looking for violations to the upload/publication agreements? lol...i am certainly guilty as charged
anyhow, the part 2 and 3 sections live on...char, you'll have to please send me the raw VHS footage again for digitizing and i'll insert some more audio from the live jam in place of the intro section where the violation occurred...no feathers ruffled, i deal with red tape every day

Very nice! The music in the 1st part is a bit over the top,but its great
to see this type of video.Seems like all of you had a really good time.
I wish I could have been there.

lol, sorry...that's not the original video music (a blend of GL music and folks nicely jamming)...for kicks i just took advantage of some sort of 'substitute free music' feature Warner and or Youtube offers as consolation for removing the original music...nothing was going to work of course so I just picked a tune that roughly matched the video length...it was a horrible choice and clash or video and audio, lol...perhaps appropriate if Gord was a native Indian i suppose
i am probably better to delete the video altogether...it was fun while it lasted...yes, you missed a great charbque (me too! but i was having a grand time on a tight schedule, venturing with another wonderful GL fan in town for Massey...everybody won that year, as is the case up here every 18 months )
