Why didn't they use the best song for Gord and other artists? Who decided?

IYCRMM... chopped liver?
CRT... our second anthem, says Mansbridge
EMR... his signature one, imo
WRECK...a few have heard of this one too
SFAWN...voted best in our fanclub poll (where is "rm"?)
FLM... universal
DQ... title track, best LP
RAINY DAY... not bad
SUNDOWN, yeah, I'd still call it a top 10

the band - cripple creek or rag mama rag (but i say king harvest)

anne murray - cotton jenny or you wont see me

bnl - jane or brian wilson

trooper - i guess they pick what did best in the USA (as an objective measure or quality)... ones that were better and did better here: Here for a Good Time, Two for the Show... even Boys in the Bright White Sportscar

metric - gimme sympathy (by a ton)

avril - my happy ending

shania - they can't be serious, so many others

cohen - tower of song or suzanne

bryan adams - heaven

alanis - uninvited or thank u

buble - everything, but i can't argue with home

healey - yeah, for sure

hedley - who cares

dummies - yeah, but that other one is mmm good

olp - dunno em

It don't look good, Gordon is way behind, only 32%. The young people are voting in mass.

Click on the black box after you vote and it should have a number next to each name. Or, just click on Chars top link in her starting post.

I KNOW it's a genration gap thing.

Whne it comes to online polls and voting, people
under 30 or 25 usually are the ones doing it the most.

They love putting their opinions out there,
even if they don;t fully grasp what the subject means.

The real test would be to come back in 25 or 50 years and see which music held up the best.

GL is the finest songwriter/performer I have ever watched or listened to; His lyrics, chord progressions and arrangements when played solo or with the entire band are a hard combination to duplicate.
