Yes it was, 'The Way I Feel', and 'Let It Ride'.

A Lightfoot song, 3 words, 20 letters. Good Luck!

Good job of starting the new thread, Jessi-Joe! Hopefully if it was a corrupted file as was suggested, this will fix it.

But did you delete the other thread? Too bad if you did as there were some fun conversations going on in that one. It would have been cool just to close it so no one could post to it, but it would still be there for reading - plus we'd also have a reminder of the puzzles already done by you and Borderstone.

I think this is great fun and you do a wonderful job of choosing the songs and creating the puzzles, so why don't you go ahead and continue with the next one?

Personally, I find it less confusing if one person creates/posts the puzzles, because then there aren't several going on at once. If anyone has one they'd like to suggest, they can do so to you in PM and you can post it crediting them. That's just a suggestion on how to make it easier for the rest of us to follow - it's certainly not etched in stone or required

So anyway, bring on the next one, Jessi-Joe! I've got my thinking cap on

I must have missed this - was there a corrupted file.?? I had huge virus problems starting early Tues.morning and had my computer cleaned for 18 hours because my ISP refused me use of their service.
I don't know where the virus my computer had came from. Can anyone offer some info?
thanks,
Char

There is no prof that there was a corrupted file. The previous unscramble the song title thread kept having problems with the puzzles missing letters or letters changing.

In addition to it just being innocent oversite by the puzzle posters, one of our more technical visitors suggested that the thread may have been corrupt causing the web host to not be able to translate correctly. He gave a wonderful explanation that I'm butchering to smitherines, but sufice it to say, he suggested that the original thread be closed and a new one started, just in case that was the problem. I don't think there was any issue of a virus or any sort of corruption that was transferable to anyone's hard drive.

I have no clue where you might have picked up your virus, Char, but I don't envy you - I hate dealing with crap like that - what a pain in the backside!

One man's opinion...

I wouldn't know a corrupted file if I saw one. But it was an interesting "suggestion". I would rather believe that it was, instead of just carelessness on the part of the posters.

I vote for Janice's idea that Jessi-Joe maintain control of the thread. It is indeed enjoyable.
