I love my pillow too, and if I can get to bed before my dog gets there, I even get to use it! :D

I seem to have that problem, too. My little terrier owns all four pillows on the bed.

How about pillow fights? Those can be fun. And has anyone really had one where the pillow breaks open, sending feathers flying everywhere, or does that only happen on TV?

Yep Bill, it is in the wrong place. But to save you I will make a Lightfoot connection. I have taken my pillow to every Lightfoot concert in 2005 and I don't share it.

Deb should be made to leave it at the door. Imagine the number of fleas EEEEW!
Probably her technique for getting those sitting next to her to vacate their seats? Fiendishly clever as one would expect from said individual...

I've been know to have pillow fights with the dog :D She usually wins because she eventually grabs it and runs. The cats refuse to participate in any of this nonsense. Something about being afraid of being mistaken for a pillow by the dog . . .

always thought "Pillow Fight" was a cool name for an all girl band!

Apropos an earlier acrimonious topic that got moved then finally deleted by our most Charming Moderator I had disputed with her whether us plebs could move a topic ourselves.
I now note that there is a tempting " move topic" link here but if you have the temerity to click it you are informed unequivocally:-

"Only administrators or moderators may perform this action."
Well done Deb on linking this to a Lightfoot theme I am sure Bill now owes you big time.
May I now add a link of my own.
In my youth I was particularly fond of an old country hit by Hank Locklin

I can picture every move that a man could make

And so I guess I'll move along It doesn't matter if the sun don't shine ...

Just let me know and Ill move on Down to the station

Let me move along for the road never ends Vowing to live till the end of all time

Here inside these walls that seem to move a little closer every day

Like many folks we have a pile of 'decorative' pillows on the bed that have to be removed before one can sleep in it. Then we each have two sleeping pillows ?? OK - I put one aside or on the floor and sleep on 'my pillow' which is about 3/4s or 1 inch thick and fairly firm. All the other pillows have been replaced about 4 times since this one was new but I asked my wife to leave it alone. My wife and daughter travel with their pillows but I don't dare carry mine outside for fear it might fall apart. Sad, but true!

My name is BillW - thanks for letting me share.

I am just so envious that all you guys have these 'my' pillows. I truly have never found one that is that special. I have obviously lived a deprived life.

"I heard you talking in your sleep" probably because your pillow was too soft or too hard. A too soft or hard pillow always makes one "Restless". This post fits here.
