Default Like Shooting Fish in a Barrel

This morning when my alarm clock radio went off, the Sarnia radio station I was listeneing to announced that Gordon Lightfoot would be playing in London in April (this news was posted here last week). They also said they'd be giving away tickets each morning this week. They'd be playing a Lightfoot song in the next hour and the first caller in after the song began would win a free pair of tickets. I figured I' should have a good chance at picking that out. About twenty minutes later, I was dialing after about the third note into the intro for Carefree Highway. Anyway, I was the winner for today! Good way to start a Monday morning.
For anyone intrerested, tickets for the London show (John Labatt Centre) go on sale Nov 9 at 10:00.

Congrats Brian. Enjoy the show!
Saw Gord in London back in the '70s at Western's Alumni Hall.
John Labatt center didn't even exist.
Gosh, I miss London and my U.W.O. days....

Very good Brian, I did win tickets for KD Lang this past April, went to the show @ The Coliseum and it was really good. The lady has got a good set of pipes. She told the audience @ one point " You guy's kick Halifax's axx !

BTW today is KD Lang's birthday !

Hey Brian that is great! See it is good you are a diehard fan you can play Name That Tune in three notes or less and win tickets to see Gord. Hope you have seen a few concerts since I saw you in Michigan last year.
Great way to start off a Monday!

Yuri, I grow up in London and like you miss the city and my years at U.W.O. First got to know Gord's music in high school and then went to my first Lightfoot concert at Alumni Hall. Those were the days!

Hey Jesse Joe!

My daughter and I went and seen KD Lang about 8 or 9 years ago. Very interesting crowd attended the show...but that voice! When she sang "crying", it almost made me cry...not really, after all real men don't cry. Maybe I meant weep. Anyhow, she was great!

Yes my good man she has a great voice, didn't sing 'Crying' but she did the Leonard Cohen song 'Hallelujah', and some people were crying...
