Default most unusual stage entrance

So, the most unusual stage entrance by Gord and the Band... who has seen it and what was it?
I spoke of that concert in Cleveland back in 1994 and as I recall Gord was jumping around on stage and being very active with his hawaiian shirt on. Unusual from what I expected to occur during a Gordon Lightfoot concert.

Interesting topic...

Front Row Theatre... "Theatre in the Round"... Cleveland, Ohio.... mid to early 80's...

The Band came down to the stage... someone was introducing GL... Spotlight shined on GL coming out of the dressing room....smoking a cigarette.... GL was a bit embarrassed... put out his cigarette and made his way down the stage...

Nice memory.

This isn't the most unusual, but it was different. Summer 2008 at the Botanical Gardens in Denver. The audience was seated on their own chairs in a circle around a stage that was down in the center of a magnificent lawn surrounded by exquisite gardens. The band appeared, entered from above, and walked, single file, down a long path to the stage, followed almost immediately by Gordon, unescorted. It was about 7 pm, broad daylight, beautiful August evening, elegant setting, yet it had quite a different feel from the usual entrance in the dark with the lighting controlled. The five players looked like what they are . . . troubadours, walking in our midst. To work.

Hi Sunshine,

I think the date was Aug. 16th, 2007 and I was there. Your description of the entrance was perfect. I was in the front row and the evening was magical.

for me it had to be april 2009 in Calgary when he came out after the intermission and walked to the very edge of the stage dead centre where I was sitting in the front row.
And then leaned down and shook my hand with a big "Hi Char!" !!!
Then he stepped back a step to the mic and began the second set.
wowza..
