maybe i'm misunderstanding your comment, SF, but aint that floyd cramer on keys for that gem? i'd really like to somehow filter out the backups on that as well as on Remember Me

those 2 tunes redirected me to jim reeves anthology, i'd have loved to have seen he and floyd and chet (atkins) as a live trio

From a post (not his site) by Wayne Francis:

TWO TONES AT THE VILLAGE CORNER (with Terry Whelan) ** - 1962 Canatal
Records (1012)
We Come Here To Sing*; Fast Freight*; The Fox*; Dark As A Dungeon*;
Sinnerman*; This Is My Song; Kilgarry Mountain*; Calypso Baby*; Summer
Love*; Children Go Where I Send Thee*; Copper Kettle*; Lord I'm So Weary*

EARLY LIGHTFOOT ** - 1971 (but recorded in early 60's) AME Records
(AME 7000)
Remember Me (I'm The One); Daisy Doo; Adios, Adios; Is My Baby Blue
Tonight*; Sleep Little Jane; Long Haired Woman; It's Too Late He Wins;
Take Care Of Yourself*; This Is My Song; Negotiations*

*************************************
If I remember the explanation, the * indicates a song written by others.

I think Gordon should just get together with all the people that have anything to do with his music and just release one great big box set.
Ranging from Two Tones to whatever may be his last CD and including the rarities too. Release it in 2012 and call it "Gord's 50th Gold Anniversary Collection."

Probably go for nearly $175.00 but hey,I'd save up for it!
