Hi all,
I'm going to be at the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center tonight for the concert.
Anyone else here attending? This venue is probably the smallest Gord has done with only 399 seats that I counted. All but 24 tickets are sold last time I was at the WBPACs site which was yesterday. The theatre is historic and was renovated by a community group in the past several years. The site has a virtual tour and you all would probably enjoy seeing it. There's a link @ Wayne France's site [which is listed under the links @ CORFID].
Although Long Island is where I live, Westhampton Beach is about a 2 hr. drive for me.
I decided to buy a ticket a week ago and was able to get a 3rd row seat(C9), although to the far left of the stage. The tickets were a little more pricey than usual which is why it took me so long to decide whether to go or not especially since I couldn't think of a friend to go with me who was willing to put out the money. I wish I could afford to buy 2 tickets. But I did for myself cause I decided, at this point, you don't turn down an opportunity to see Gord at work. Westhampton Beach is part of the Long Island East End scene with a lot of celebrities residing there. Maybe I'll spot some tonight. I will return here to tell you all about it.

Have a wonderful evening Dorothea... A 399 seat theatre, I guess he could make The Capitol in Moncton, which would seat close to 900.

Hey Dorothea, if I was closer I would go with you. :D Waiting to hear your report on tonight's concert...Jesse.

I only have enough time to tell you that I will
return in a day or 2 to post my review of the
Westhampton concert. I've been at a work-related conference all week in Albany [Val, I thought about emailing you to see if you'd be in the area, but couldn't access a pc]and just got back late last night. I'm tired & it is late. Gotta return to the office tomorrow [and a lot of backlog!] In short, to hold you over,
the concert was great and I did get to meet Gord and "the guys" after. :D Also, have set list.
