Thanks for the rope "Heels". I started to think it was too late for prayin'. Well, it surely is good to see the jib taut and full of air as we head for the double B. I've got a bit of a sniffle and my ears are rather clogged but the Blackberry Wine is going down fine.

Say now, isn't ole Bill Skinners stream a feeder for Biscayne Bay? Now wouldn't it be dandy to drop anchor when we arrive and have afternoon tea (and a bit of the berry too) with cheese and crackers? Some sausage would be good also. What else is on the menu? Anyone care to go ashore? Let's take our blankets and hop on the dingy and see what fine adventure awaits us. There's sure to be music around the camp fire tonight...eh?

We have been sailing for a long time, I hope the next port has a "lady Barber"

-----------------------------------
"and still I'd like to tell you that I miss her so in North Ontario" ( still snowing in North Bay )
-----------------------------------
Keep Smiling.... Ron.

I'm a slight bit woosey but it appears we've again crossed another time barrier and I'm amazed at the difference. From what I can tell the time seems to be about "1970" according to the way folks are dressed. Wait...is that Frank V over by the piano. There's a mist in the air
and I can't see where we are heading. It...it looks as though our fine young handsome troubadour has strapped on a 12 string and is heading for the stage. It appears that we're in the main ballroom of the ship and everyone is gathered around. The entire corfid crew is standing and applauding. Now this...yes...this...is going to be a great show. Is the song playing called "If You Could Read My Mind"?
I think that is going to be a huge hit if I may say so. All the lovely ladies are indeed in their finery and there's a gleam in the singers eye. With some luck tonight we might have this lovely ship at our fingertips. There is a real electricity in the air and everyone is smiling. Do we have any other reports as to what is happending?

All I’m after on this voyage is romance when I reunite with my first and only true love, Gord. Our souls joined in our hometown, many years ago. We spent our early years by a worn down weathered old mill in dreamland. There was no such thing as bad times, until a falling out one day...I sent him a railroad ticket and he gambled the ticket away. Our lives took different directions and much to my surprise, the world was in his hand and his touch had turned to gold. Over the years, I was drawn to his concerts, always hiding in the shadows. I know he too felt that same old obsession as I was told by many from our hometown that he always asked “did she mention my name?” When he wrote Beautiful, I knew it was for me. I couldn’t bear attending concerts because some women would cry actually thinking it was written for them! The rose tattoo is another reminder of our broken dreams.

I have remained in the shadows on this voyage, waiting for the right moment. But there’s a woman in a scarf with the initials SH who has been hanging all over him with her cup of whiskey. Who does she think she is with her treasures of paper and tin? The perfume she wore is obviously from some little store on the down side of town. The high seas are rough now. I must go topside for some fresh air. The deck is dipping and reeling. There’s SH, seasick and hanging over the stern rail looking bitter green. Here’s my chance to do something about her...a wave broke over the railing...whew, that perfume lingered on long after she’d gone...gotta get away.

Char here mateys!
We'll be docking soon and if you all want shore leave there'd better be some deck scrubbin and brass polishin done. Hoist the sails and let's speed to our next port and disembark like lovely ladies and handsome gentlemen!
Toronto, here we come!

Not to worry, Ron, me and the skipper are
doing just fine now - safely away from that
demented 'honeyed' spirit from ages past.
The Gypsy had warned me and Gord before we set sail on this cruise. It's just another
Lazy Morning out here on the calm seas where he can enjoy his 'delicious bru' ...

Ring those bells, Cap'n. We'll be 'Waiting for you' ... maybe

AHA! I've been found out! I've been laid low with a broken ankle and the flu and many a guest is expected in May! aaarrgghhhh! Painting and yard work aplenty and the mateys are off cruisin' the oceans lookin for love in all the wrong places! I'm almost as busy as a one armed wall paperer! It's alrughty then - off with ya - go on a bout yer cruisin whilst I spit and polish and make things presentable on the homefront!
curses - foiled again!

Well, SH's fine young skipper has run her up on a boulder leaving her high and dry.

Gord & I are going to steal away in the noonday sun and enjoy the skyline of Toronto. Sorry, I don't do cleaning. Now make way for the lady...
