heh heh, way to go, guys this should definitely be under small talk (speaking of small, would the California Raisins, count? lol) but what the heck, not the first thread that's wondered aimlessly

i think there's a group called the Cranberries

oh, i know that former-male-teen-wet-dream-queen Maureen McCormick has recorded some tunes, but i'm sure a certain about Eve Plum?

Would "Uncle Cracker" count?

I love the ironic "Follow Me" song

...
when i'm with you
i make you free
and swim through your veins
like the fishes in the sea
...

Funny you should mention the Strawbs. I had never heard of them until we booked them (at least the acoustic trio part of them) to play for our concert series in November. My understanding is that one of the original founders is still leading the pack. I've gone from never hearing of them before, to reading their name all over the place

hey, are you guys making these up? lol... this has kinda turned into a quiz, eh (so i knew lsh would add to the fun and eventually turnip )

speaking of real or not band names (for more fun): http://ideaexplore.net/ron/bands/index2.php

janice, yeah, i was going to go see them 2 years ago at Hugh's Room (same place as GL Tribute) but David Cousins was still recovering from a spill...i think you've made a great booking, goodluck! i'm a longtime fan but they're not everyone's cup of tea ...or bowl of cherries
