Thank you Geo Steve, we will say it's Dear Hubby...

Charlene you have got to be the luckiest person as far as Gordon Lightfoot goes.

Meredith saying I love you Daddy, did the poet hear that?

And Cathy as well, I know your a woman Cathy, But Ive got to ask you anyway. Elizabeth in person must look some pretty?

She was with him at Live 8, last July in Barrie, Ontario, Canada. For support I guess. When Dan Acroyd, and Tom Green, introduced him, talk about a cool Dude, walking in front stage, he was like in the shadow, and when he hit the sunlight the Ovation started. A bottle of water, the Martin D-18, plug it into his Fender Amp, and 3 songs later it was done. He said he felt nervous.

I was surprise he was alone, but it was enjoyable to watch. I watched that about 40 to 50 times and I will watch it again, on DVD...Jesse.

How about "Darling Husband". That's what I mean when I refer to my "DH".

oh yeah - he just grinned. the whole place heard her-she yelled it out pretty loud...she got a nice round of applause too! I think someone (possibly bill/talbot10) yelled "we/I love you Gord!" and then Meredith yelled out...

And Cathy as well, I know your a woman Cathy, But Ive got to ask you anyway. Elizabeth in person must look some pretty?

Yes she is pretty- and a tiny woman too.

I seem to recall this from a PM you sent once. My apologies if I am wrong.

Jesse I hope this helps. Knowing Misty well enough I don't think she'd use DH as a eupemism for "Designating Hitler"
geo Steve
Thanks so much for stepping in with that geo Steve! (aka: "Rocky".. yes - that's my secret nickname for you! ~giggle~ Considering your profession I think it's appropriate.)

DH = "Dear Hubby" but he also answers to "Electric Lips", "Wonder Buns" and... um.. "Pumpkin Head".

JJ - I didn't see Cathy Coonley but when Gordon introduced Eric he also introduced his household staff who was sitting with him. I was in row 5 a couple of seats away from Gordon's "Mum" (as he called her whenever he spoke of her) and his sister Bev.

Char ( & Jessie-Joe & Misty) well all's well that ends well...hehe I just happened to re-read this page today and saw your polite correction in my reading Char LOL looks like I need to change from bi-focals to trifocal + prisms and new brain attached LOL

Char I guess only you really saw the faux-paux of mine in reading acuity on my attempt to clarify for JJ that Misty's eupHemism for DH = dear hubby , not designated hitter, which I mis-read for designated hitler ROFLMAOPMP .

I am glad I took no umbrage in my understated attempt to assist JJ on behalf of Misty. Guess I got the answer right but the question wrong !

glad no one toook offense I could see, all well taken it seems - sorry Jessie ! LOL Char you have good eyes - I had to pick up my laptop and hold it close to my face - but you were sure right Char LOL o boy o boy o.... (eyeing possible exits)...

sorry to you too Misty, but reading your follow-up I can't see (no pun) that you caught it [my error in reading JJ); just the correct re-intepretation of "Dear Hubby" LOL thanks Char
