A friend in Santa Barbara, CA (who owns a record store wrote me today:

Rez.... Thanx for the E-mail. I (like you) have only seen a picture of the "only" Gordon Lightfoot cover. It would be worth considerably more than the SDYS ($25). If You Could Read My Mind is $10 and EVERYWHERE (I have some in the back "bargain room" for $3). The VERY first two he ever made available only in Canada are WAY up there ($200-$400) and, of course are conSIDerably hard to find as he personally tried to buy all copies of the first one personally to destroy them with an axe (I kid you not!!!)

Yesterday at our local Antique "Mall",I saw 3 LP's selling for 5+ dollars apiece. A fair copy of DSR,an original 1969 Best Of GL,and the best one of all,"Endless Wire" in it's original plastic wrap with the "featuring the songs" sticker still on the front!

I'd have bought it but it's the week of rent paying,with which I also pay my water bill along with it. Next week!
