Legendary singer-songwriter Gordon Lightfoot returns to Clearwater to perform at the Capitol Theatre. This will be Lightfoot’s first concert at the Capitol Theatre since 2012.
Bob Dylan said of Gordon Lightfoot’s music, “Every time I hear a song of his, it’s like I wish it would last forever.” The master songwriter who penned If You Could Read My Mind, Sundown and The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald loves both writing and touring and since his emergence from the Toronto folk club scene in the ‘60s, has blessed us with more than 20 albums (ALL LIVE is his latest) and has composed hits for artists ranging from Bob Dylan to Elvis Presley, Barbra Streisand, Harry Belafonte and Nina Mouskouri. In June 2012 Lightfoot was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
