Well, my friends and I were there too but Kelly beat me to the setlist. So, just a few thoughts. I agree that Gord was having a good time and sounded good too. Wish he'd lose that red smoking jacket or whatever it is, though. Came out for the second half with the black and white 'hawaiian' shirt.
That bird during Sundown was quite a sight. Flew right to left across the stage like the devil was chasing it. There was an audible buzz in the crowd and I'm not sure the band knew what had happened.
When introducing the band, Gord said something like "and Rick Haynes on bass, and my guardian angel."
Was happy to hear If Children Had Wings again. Been a favorite of mine a long time and only heard it once out of four shows last year. As before, he introduced it as being about "my first ex-old lady and our kids".
That's about it I guess; hope they schedule some more shows around the midwest later this year.
