about our own family. My older sister and my niece, who is 35 years old (we have an interesting family-I also have a 2 year old nephew), we're visiting our family in California from Baltimore. My niece walked by my dresser and saw one of the Songbook CDs. "Oh, I love Gordon Lightfoot!", she said. What sweeter words could I hear? Now like a good auntie (we joke about that, because I was 12 years old when I became an aunt, and she's never called me "aunt" ever), I am going to surprise her and send her Songbook when she gets back home. I'm so excited, knowing she will go crazy over it!!

Even though you were only 12 you must have been a great influence on her! She will love songbook and just think of all the potential conversations you can have over all the songs. What a mentor you are!
