I have been sent this candid camera shot of our dear friend Walter which he wants me to display here.
I mentioned this to Cathy Cowette and she brilliantly suggested that I add a section of fan's pictures on my web site
I very much like this idea. I already have many suitable pics so I will contact the people concerned to ask their permision to include a particular pic in this potential rogue's gallery.
But I would be delighted to receive from anybody a suitable (preferably recent) digital picture to include on the site.
Please e-mail me with an attached jpeg to my ISP e-mail address (my usual hotmail account is limited by the owners
(a software outfit in Redmond WA) to a most stingy 2MB:
so please use:-
fowles@tellurian.com
to avoid your e-mail being refused.
Alternatively if like Mende Joveski and Cathy you already have a suitable pic on a web page just send me the URL so I can link to it from my new page.I will of course post a link to the new page once it is up and running

Walter is your right hand reaching for the chain I wonder?!

I was anticipating a more revealing "naturist" shot myself

So that's Borderstone? Now we just need to see what The Watchman and DMD3 look like.

Yup. Borderstone looks like a bona fide Lighthead to me.

I pictured him to be chubbier and slightly bald, though.

John, my URL is below my name.

Yep!!!! That's me! ..and despite the "bathroom" humor that is me in my kitchen leaning up against the cupboard (or is it cabinet?).

I'd like to thank my friends Lisa & Jacob for the use of their PC for this endeavor and also to Brink for sending the pic to John Fowles and to he himself for getting it up here on the site.

I decided to do this in marking my 1st year here and I thought it would be a cool thing to do,since I've never really done much with PC technology before.

Anyhow......ain't I drop to the knees handsome??? I look soooooooo good! Seriously though,I have been told by the opposite sex that I'm very cute or kind of handsome in an old-fashioned way. (Not to sure about that 2nd one.

Cathy! Chubbier??? Balding?? I'm Borderstone, not George Costanza of "Seinfeld"! To be fair though,I used to be 228 lbs. now I'm at about 203,thank goodness!

Well, hope you liked the photo and now the rest of you have to do it too! Yes! YOU!

Been me,later! (Autographs anyone?)

It's weird, when I saw your picture, Borderstone, I thought that it was pretty much how I pictured you. You have pioneered a lot of thread-starting on this site, now it seems you have pioneered the start of us getting to know what each of us looks like!
Speaking of Pioneer,(this is a sad segue),
I have a Pioneer DVD player that plays both DVD-Audio and SACD discs. Hey, Gordon, when will you start releasing your albums in surround on either DVD-A or SACD! C'mon!

Some time back in a long discussion of dogs, of all things, on this board there was indeed a picture from a newspaper that featured The Watchman with one of his fine specimens. And there's been pictures of Cathy and Val available for some time. But I think the "B" has a great idea, thanks John for volunteering to organize it ? And Gord has pictures on his site and that shot of joveski was cool. And there was some pictures of a lot of current and former posters at the convention? So let's forge ahead.....

No disrespect Borderstone, but did you accidently shave off part of your eyebrow?
Just wondering.

I think the hand up looks like it was beating on the door: "Help! Let me out! Somebody's trying to take my pic...>>>FLASH<<<...never mind."

No,Titan.....that's just "the Shadow of my eyebrow near the door".

Actually,(and this is weird by the way!) my eyebrows don't exactly end as much they kind of get lighter and or trail off.

Okay!! Can we think of weirder things to discuss? DON'T Answer that! Later!

John,
I've attempted to send you my picture, don't you think it's strange how Borderstone and I look almost like twins ? Small world, huh ?
Check it out "B", maybe we were separated at birth.
