Will the Corfid police show up at our doorsteps? Maybe we should all chip in a few dollars and hire a private investigator.
I do admit, however, that I too have become attached to my Border-Buddy. I hope he's OK.
I'm calling Southwest and find out when the next flight to Phoenix leaves.

Titan: In my mind it's a little different situation. Neither you, Auburn Annie or Watchman (or most of the rest of us)post continuously, day after day, and as frequently as Borderstone has. I know that I, for example, go in spurts. Sometimes I just lurk. Lurking isn't like stalking, is it? Are there laws against it too?

Anyway, my point is that our buddy Borderstone seems to have attached himself to all of us in a much deeper way and this "disappearance" seems to be totally out of character.

I'm catching the next plane for Phoenix and intend to go door-to-door calling his name!

"...Aren't there laws against stalking??? What if Watchman or Auburn Annie or myself for that matter stops posting for a month?"

Well, if I stop posting for a month, either our computer died or I'm gravely ill - or it's Christmas break and I can't pry my kids off long enough for me to do anything more than checking my email <g>

Maybe B's traveling, visiting relatives for the holidays? Could be a family emergency that has his attention elsewhere or he could be laid up with the flu - somehow I don't see even the dedicated Borderstone dragging himself from his sickbed to post. I expect we'll hear from him again in a little while.

Well, I found him. Here he is. Looks like he took my advice after all and is hell bent on finding a woman.

This is great, wacky but great, I hope he's OK and I hope he comes back or at least contacts us in some way. We all have varied opinions of the person and that's cool. We've all agreed with him and some of us have blown him off a time or two. But it's his posting prowess that has stuck in our heads. I mean half the time he's talking to himself but at least he lights up the red bulbs when otherwise they'd be lights out. So I would like to propose that at least one reply per day is posted to this thread until we know what happened to him.
Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night.
Peace
Bill
He's probably on a two week vacation before the busy season at his Hotel starts, ya think?

Geez, everytime I check here and see that this topic is at the top, I get hopeful that it's because Borderstone has replied! I hope he comes back soon, I have Borderstone withdrawl.
Even when he isn't here, he's kept us posting!

Wow. He needs a shave and a haircut almost as badly as Saddam did.

Stalking? Stalking?! What are you stalking about?

Yes folks,I'm here! Alive & well & doing fine among other things. I have been busy in the romance dept...yes. Also,in my job where the holidays take up a good deal of my time and also I just finished moving into a new place. Yay! I'm on a short break from work and on a time limited PC. I hope to have more time to post after all this mayhem slows down. (Except for the romance part.)

No details though,I'm a gentleman and I don't kiss & tell! I'm touched that I was missed,now I'm gonna cry! Sorry Watchman,no tattoo's for me! Ever! Gotta go folks,exept for my B. Tapes section,late!!

The mystery is solved, and to the good. Remember when Watchman left us for awhile. Good luck in the romance B!

Oh the B, oh the B, oh the B is back...

The universe is in perfect harmony again.

Borderstone, this is me SASSING you. It's cool that you've found romance, but next time you take off on a wild 10 day love fest, let us know, will ya? You don't know how close we were to sending in the FBI.

Merry Christmas to you and your new girl.
(She'd better be a Lightfoot fan).

Great as the romance is,it was actually work (which I just finished for the day) that kept me from posting. Along with the move.

I did get a reward for my hard working efforts though. Thanks to a kingly paycheck I was able to say good-bye to my 1993 K-Mart 13 in. TV and buy a 2003 TV! Nice flat screen but is still analog. (For all that know what that means.)
I'm also X-mas shopping for family & friends. I'm EX-HAUS-TED! Goin' home tonight and (as the cool people say) crash out!
By the way,I'd never be so lame as to leave on purpose just to get messages about myself! That's the epitome of fishing for compliments!
Well,I've still got an hour on here so I'm going to try to reply to all posts that peek (?) my interest. It's been the B! Happy Christmas,Haunnakah,Kwanza and New Year to All Of You! Later!

And to think, all this started from me asking a question about a Gord song. Evolution is the scientific word.
