The Collector,1965 film based on John Fowles??! (Novel)

I was up early and tuned into the TV and was on the MOVIES channel ( or M!) as some call it.

I came across a 1965 movie called "The Collector" and at the end of it,it stated "Base on
the book by "John Fowles". Sir John,if you're out there....tell me,would this in fact be "YOU?"

If so,good work . If not,is this John Fowles any relation? Let me know! ;>)
