They both have a birthday today!

Robbie Robertson is the big 6-4! Big day to him!

Huey Lewis (of The News *duh*) :roll: Is 57. Hope he has a great day too.

A note about a birthday yesterday. If you thought Lena turning 90 was big,how about Mr. Sing-A-Long himself Mitch Miller turning 96!

The ironic thing about Mitch turning 96,is that he has outlived all of the big rock acts who left us at too young an age.
The same guy who for 10 years kept rock & roll acts off of Columbia Records. Mr. "Yellow Rose Of Texas" himself! (#1 for 6 weeks in 1955)

Happy birthday Mitch,I do know you are a nice guy though.

Robbie has just been named to receive Order of Canada- Officer level..

ORDER OF CANADA BACKGROUNDER

The Order of Canada was established in 1967 to recognize outstanding achievement and service in various fields of human endeavour. It is our country’s highest civilian honour for lifetime achievement. Three different levels of membership—Companion, Officer and Member—honour people whose accomplishments vary in degree and scope.

Congratualtions to him! That must be a pretty great birthday present for him.

He and Gord are both recipients right? That's as it should be.
