Interesting photo of trams running along Yonge St in 1951. It looks similar to Melbourne, which still has trams. I'd be interested to know when Toronto's trams finished.

Seems like it would be easy for someone to copy the pictures and just ask Gordon where and when they were taken. Very interesting article.

Toronto had trolley cars/coaches until 1993. (buses run on electricity run from overhead wires) , There are currently street cars on rails, subways and buses.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toronto_Transit_Commission
