Carter pic: This is the last concert of our 23 day tour. I'm performing tonight at the Marin Center in San Rafael CA with Gordon Lightfoot, Barry Keane, Rick Haynes and Mike Heffernan. I'd like to thank all the crew for pulling these shows together every night and all the fans for coming out and supporting us. After tonight I'm home for 19 days and then back on the road again.

A simply gorgeous day in Marin County. Here we are again, 25 years later at the Marin Center, in San Raphael, just North of 'the City By The Bay'. Peewee had recently left the band, and Bob and Steve were pretty new to the crew. Anyway, it's good to be back.

Hey fellas! Nice to see your photos of the Marin Center. I was there too, way back in the 29th row (the nosebleed section). The sound was good though, reportedly acoustic properties of the building are tuned to perfection.
Late last week, My gal Sue and I had noticed the Center's highway marquee announcing the Gordon Lightfoot tour would be coming to Marin Center in San Rafael on the 5th. We hurriedly purchased tickets just hours before the show. Both of us were raised in Marin, and we fondly recall hearing Gordon's music on Bay Area AM and FM radio stations during our youth. So, it was a nostalgic pleasure to have you guys in Marin, playing some familiar tunes.
Sue commented on Rick's bass work, and I especially liked Carter's presence on guitar. We both enjoyed hearing some of Gordon's newer compositions, but I haven't a clue as to titles nor albums. Can anyone here tell me the titles of songs that were played that evening in San Rafael?
Note the Canadian geese in the foregorund of Rick's photo. They're perennial visitors here. Hope you'll do the same.
