Remembering Mr. Barry Harvey

Today, Dec 4th is the fifth anniversary of the passing of Gordon Lightfoot's previous business manager, Barry Harvey.

For those of us who have been long time concert goers we would have seen the always busy Barry Harvey going about the business of ensuring all the functions of a Gordon Lightfoot performance were fully in place. He did his work well.

Yes, Barry was a real nice guy, and I do miss him too.

This coming Januray 28th will be 6 years since I met Barry. He was the one who allowed Gordon to not just give general autographs & take pictures with me but also,he's the one who chose "Early Lightfoot" and "Sit Down Young Stranger" for autographing as well.

He did seem like a great guy. I updated about his passing on the Gordon Lightfoot page of Wikipedia,in 2008.
