Motorist Robert Gould is lucky to be alive after a startled cow leapt over a three-foot fence and landed on his car

Having a cow get through a fence and onto a highway is every cattleman's nightmare. My families property fronts Highway 1 ,- '(the main highway that runs around the coastline of Aus.), the Princes Highway and the cars are rarely travelling slower than 100 km/hr (60 mph*) Even if not a deadly outcome then definitely litigation central under duty of care grounds.
*That's for people from the US who would be less familiar with the metric distances/ speeds than John would be.
