Default Most Lightfoot Oriented Street Intersection

Bank Street and Sunnyside Avenue in South Ottawa.
Sitting on the patio sipping on a pint of Guinness at "Quinn's" or the "Barley Mow Pub" would reveal a view which captures Gord on a mural in what I would like to refer to him as being "in a moment of rapture" similar to the ones many of us have seen during his performances on stage.
This mural is painted on the wall of a building which houses the "Second Cup" which has a patio directly below the mural. Great place for a morning coffee.
No shortage of pubs or coffee places at this intersection. Along Bank Street we have Starbucks and just outside, to the right, a "walk of fame' maple leaf is set in the concrete sidewalk with the name "Gordon Lightfoot" etched very neatly in place. Most impressive.
Across the street from Starbucks the "Ottawa Folklore Centre" is located with all it's helpful staff and for guys like me who like to go around those kind of places and play the time can pass and before you know it's closing time.
Great little comfort zone for any Gord fan to check out.
Cheers, Ron J.

Hi Guys. Ah yes; "a moment of rapture" it sure was.
Had a great holiday. Sort of a working type one which included re unions, weddings, studio time in Toronto working on a long overdue CD, and even paying gigs which is always nice.
Other than telephone tag and conversations it was not possible to connect with the guys we were together with at the pub jam sessions back in May. Busy time for all I guess with holidays etc.
Great to be back and have a little time to catch up on all the latest.
It was wonderful chatting with you Char as always. Please keep us posted on the Buffalo concert. All very exciting. Ron J.
