Just wanted to post a message for anyone who likes folk music as I do. When I first join the gordon lightfoot club, I met a lot of nice people. Barry Mclaughlin was one of them, and he is a real Gord fan. He has a wonderful cd out called "Pieces". I have heard his cd and he credits Gordon for his music and style of guitar playing ( I have been a fan of Gord since I was a child and still listen to him).
I have been talking Barry and his number one song "5th Avenue", won him a spot in the finals of the Open Mic Contest on Folk Alley.com.
