Victoria, B.C.-born record producer David Foster also announced recently that he will star in a reality series. Airing on Fox, the show will feature Foster's battles with his stepsons.
"I was encouraging them to get out of the house and get a job," Foster told the Canadian Press by way of explaining the show's premise.
"They got cameras and filmed their lifestyle in Malibu. The cameras worked their way into the house."
Foster is known for his work with artists like Céline Dion, as well as solo efforts like the instrumental hit Love Theme from St. Elmo's Fire.

i think you're onto something, annie!
Gord could be the Trump-like guy on a show where all these young folks start as a big band of say 20 aspiring musicians and then in the end it's the last musican standing that wins!
YES! at the end of each show, instead of YOU'RE FIRED, Gord would finger someone out, YOU'RE OUT OF TUNE!!!
ok, ok, i won't quit my day job

this could fly, SK (and we could retire early!
instead of meeting around the campfire with torches or in the Boardroom, i guess Gord would just meet them in his Boathouse, but it would probably be a tight fit, lol

I read about this on the weekend and just groaned....I got enuf "real life" right here in MY life - I don't need to see a multi, multi millionaire and his bratty stepsons duking it out. Plus I don't particularly care for David Foster or his music.
JJ - you don't have a day "job" -you dont' get paid for looking after Harry!

I only like David Foster's,"Love Theme From St. Elmo's Fire". With the minor exception of that annoying saxaphone that comes in at the end sounding more like a charging elephant than a soothing sax solo! It's his only hit here in the states.
I never saw the film (thnakfully) but the song is part of my youth and now that it'll be 20 years this fall,it's one of the more pleasant memories from my "very trying" teen years.
Overall,David can make records in Canada but he seems to lose something in translation here in the U.S. Been me. Later!

Actualy, B, the film was OK for what it was. I've seen it more than once.

Mr. Foster has quite a track record with many artists - mostly Americans:
it's quite an impressive career...he's done well for himself.
