Hi Moosedog, have you been to the Pabst before?
I want to go so bad, but a Milwaukee show on a wednesday night when I'm here in Chicago and have to go to work the next day is just not fitting in my schedule! (waaah! ) Any chance of a Chicago area show being added? I sure hope so.
Jen

Jen, yes - I was just at the Pabst theatre a couple of weeks ago. It's a great facility! It's a 7 hour drive for me, but likely as close as I'll get to a concert. It would have been much easier on a weekend, but I'll take what I can get! Let me know if you reconsider, so we can meet up!

I'm in the same boat, sort of. I'm afraid of commiting to a weeknight show. I'm currently out of work and figure, hopefully, to be working again by then... but probably night shift. so no Milw show for me! But there is a show in Cedar Rapids IA June 30. That's a Saturday night!!! About an extra hour driving each way, but easy driving. If an Aurora show isn't added pretty soon, I think I'll snag tickets for Cedar Rapids! Any Corfidians hitting this one??
Jen, keep checking Wayne's site. He's very good at keeping up to date with tour info.

He was raised up in Milwaukee
Though he never was that famous
It would be very cool to hear that song in the Pabst, eh ?
Regarding checking the schedule, if 50 or so is the magic number of shows these years then it's almost complete for 2007. If something comes close enough I'd suggest jumping on it. Go for it !

Last year he was supposed to play at the Pabst but then the show got moved to the Riverside only a block or two away, so I never go to see the Pabst, but I hear its very nice.
I am still considering Milwaukee (if a Chicago show doesn't get added), but I am also supposed to go to a 3-day folk dance fest in autumn up in Cable, WI, and then there's still the family summer vacation. I just don't have enough vacation time left to do *all* this stuff after going to Mexico in March. However if I do go Vickie I will definitely let you know so we can meet up!
The show in Milwaukee last year was pretty packed; if the show wasn't sold out it had to be close because there were a lot of people and that is no doubt why he is returning to Milwaukee. Since I didn't go to the Aurora show I am wondering if their wasn't such a good turnout and maybe thats why he's not returning to that venue. PeterBro maybe you can shed some light on this, was there a lot of people at the Aurora show last year?

Bill, I hope you're wrong about the magic number being reached. I still have my fingers crossed.
Jen, Gord did 2 shows in 2005 at the Aurora Paramount (Saturday and Sunday). From my understanding, Saturday had sold out, but the Sunday show, the one I was at, was not. I was actually stunned that there were many open seats in the balcony. I saw a ballet there with balcony seats and they weren't bad seats! pity, a lot of people missed out on a great show. But the main floor was packed for sure
The 2006 show I thought was sold out or pretty darn close to it! The audiance was great! One of the things I'm continually amazed at is how (generally speaking) Lightfoot fans are polite and courteous.
I hope that answers your question, Jen. It'd be great to meet some fellow Lightheads at one of these shows!
Bill, great point about the Milwaukee conection ala "10 degress and getting colder", that would be so cool!
