If you have not used Google today you might like to waste some time strumming the wonderful Google logo created in honour of the late Les Paul
It uses some really clever trickery possibly Flash from the Adobe Sieve Company
(makers of obviously very leaky software including their stoopid Acrobat Reader bloatware and the inefficirnt and tedious AIR installer that seem ro require security upgrades every 24 hours dammit) because when I saved the web page complete instead of getting a nice animated gif
It saved a plain and entirely static png image
http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817...2386636,00.asp
it says:-
"Google's Thursday homepage doodle is celebrating what would have been the 96th birthday of musician Les Paul with a playable guitar logo.
For the next 24 hours, the logo on Google.com will be replaced with the strings of a guitar that will play a tune as you strum them with your mouse. In the U.S., users can click the black "compose" button and record a 30-second track. Clicking the button again will display a link to share the song you've just created"
How about it all you guitarists out there???
