Picked up Harmony a couple of hours ago and have listened through it twice. It is outstanding! And I have to admit I am surprised. Given the unusual circumstance of this music, I feared the worst. Doubting Dalyot, I should have had more faith. The CD is as pure Lightfoot as you can get. The songs are exceptional (as you might expect), his renditions are straightforward and unvarnished (the voice works), and the production tasteful and lovely, no overproduction. They haven't hid the songs under a bunch of crap, but have presented them with subtlety.
I'll be honest, I'm a little shocked. Though GL is my favorite artist, I haven't cared for some of his output the past 20 years (I know - heresy). But this CD is a home run. As pure and pretty as a mountain stream.
Favorite cuts - River Of Light and Flyin' Blind. But every song is a keeper.
